Piano Floor

A floor piano kids figure out in one step — play the notes and watch little animals and flowers pop up.

Surface
Floor projection or a touch panel/monitor, 1800×1080 layout (one octave, C to C). On a 1920×1080 screen a narrow strip on each side stays dark.
Input
A touch panel or touch monitor works as it is, no LiDAR sensor needed; a mouse or keyboard works for testing. Chords need multi-touch. To play on the floor, add a foot sensor that sends multi-touch signals, such as an MP-F floor unit (drivers not included).
PC
Any Windows or Mac with Chrome or Edge, plus speakers. Notes are synthesized in the browser — no sound files, no internet.

Who it's for

Made for spaces like yours

  • Kids cafés, family entertainment centers and mall kids zones
  • Children's museums, libraries and early-years classrooms
  • Family days and brand pop-ups that need a no-explanation activity

What it does for you

For you and your visitors

  1. Zero learning curve: step on a key and hear the note, and most keys pop up a little picture too — children start playing before anyone explains.
  2. Several children can play at once, so duets and chords happen on their own.
  3. The lightest piece in the library — a single page that opens in Chrome, which makes it a good first piece for testing a new floor setup.
  4. Run it yourself: open it, go full screen, done. Volume and title live in one small settings file.
